I brought mine from
the parents children and baby expo that is held here in melbourne. I must admit i was quite skepitcal at first becuase i have heard it all before the whole its natural it wont hurt his skin, he will love it lines, but this did suprise me. if i am consistent with it it realy does soothe and help the eczema heal quite nicely. i use the plain avocado oil when i dont drop it and it smashes on my tiles and breaks. But i also have brought their nipple cream for when i was breast feeding and that is just as good simpler to apply then the straight oil as it is very runny but works nearly as well.

If you try it feel free to post a comment on here to help other parents decide what to try next.

I will put in as many websites as possible from where i brought it from but please note i have no affiliation with any of them i am just a mum trying to help other people with this problem.

http://www.avadoorganics.com.au.

You purchase everything from their website and i know my coles has the nipple cream and barrier balm for nappy changes.

Blog Idea

I thought I would start a blog to help other parents out there with children with eczema. I would eventually want to have everyone involved with what you found useful. This is just my start blog as i have to get used to the blogger idea.

My Story is my middle child has had eczema since he was only a few days old and we have yet to find something to stop it completely which is why i thought of doing a website/blogger like this because there are so many Eczema creams and ideas out there i thought we could all share them.

My son lives on elecon ointment all the time and even that has failed to control to an acceptable level. We have tried just about everything that i can find, emu oil, avocado oil (that was a pretty good one). calendula cream, evening primrose oil straight from the tablets, steroids (dont like them but dont have a choice). we have organic sheets and towels for him to use, i use planet ark sensitive skin washing powder, i am sure if as i remember i will post more ideas that we have tried. The favourite one though is the salt baths with hamiltons oil which at least keeps him comfortable.

Feel free to add any comments and ideas and hopefully one day i can get a website and have a few more options with sharing our experiences with others.

I am also going to start my naturopathy course very soon (fingers crossed) so hopefully that will help me find something to help.
